In 1866, a hospital built in a converted farmhouse in West Philadelphia opened its doors, “dedicated to the relief of the sick and wounded without regard to creed, color or nationality.”
150 years later, that hospital has grown into the Einstein Healthcare Network.
To help celebrate Einstein’s 150th Anniversary, we are looking for photos of all the bouncing baby boys and girls who were born into our family.
Upload your photo and a brief story or comment at www.bornateinstein.com. While you are there, you can browse through the stories from other members of the family. Maybe you’ll even find someone who was in the crib next to you.
All participants will receive a free #Born At Einstein t-shirt and will be entered for other prizes throughout our Anniversary Celebration.
If you entered the world at the Jewish Hospital, Jewish Maternity Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Northern Liberties Hospital, Montgomery Hospital Medical Center, Rolling Hill Hospital or Germantown Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center/Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, or Einstein Medical Center Montgomery—you were "Born at Einstein"—so please share your photo and story.
Even if you weren’t Born at Einstein, you are welcome to attend our 150th Anniversary kick-off event. Einstein friends and family will gather at the National Constitution Center on January 14, 2016, to begin a year-long celebration to honor the spirit of humanity and compassionate care that has always been and will continue to be the essence of Einstein Healthcare Network.
Singer Diana Ross and actor Jason Alexander, of Seinfeld fame, will be there to help us celebrate. Learn more and purchase your tickets at our 150th Anniversary Website.
