As of this writing, 15 people have been infected with the Zika virus in a small community just north Miami, Fla., raising questions about travel to the state. The Zika virus has been associated with the severe birth defect known as microcephaly, in which babies are born with smaller than normal heads, contributing to a variety of serious physical and developmental issues.
