Einstein Honors for a Transplant Coordinator

Einstein's Department of Transplantation is proud to honor Beth Meder, RN, BSN, with the Great Employee of the Month (GEM) Award!

Beth is our pre-liver transplant coordinator in the Department of Transplantation. She was nominated for the GEM Award by two co-workers, because she is always going above and beyond for our patients.

For one patient in particular, that was certainly true. Beth—along with some of our other dedicated nurseshelped this patient find an apartment. But they also went a step further and had their own family and friends donate furniture and clothing for the patient.

Einstein's Center for Advanced Liver Disease and Transplantation Hosts Continuing Education Symposium

On Saturday, the Center for Advanced Liver Disease and Transplantation hosted Advances in Liver Disease 2015: A Year in Review, the region’s post review course presenting highlights from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) The Liver Meeting®.

As an accredited provider, Einstein offers physicians, non-physician clinicians, nurses and support staff from across the region with a review course on the national AASLD conference.
